Job Summary

Utilize extensive process control skills to calibrate, troubleshoot and maintain instrumentation.

Core Duties & Responsibilities

  • Calibrate process controls to customer specifications by giving instrumentation an input to compare it to an output and matching that to the specification
  • Analyze equipment and determine if repairable
  • Detect and troubleshoot production defects
  • Certify and document calibration procedures
  • Analyze and follow many lines of instruction per job
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Extensive background (minimum 5 years) with: transmitters and flow, level, pressure and temperature controls
  • Process control theory preferred
  • Ability to convert units of measure
  • Strong pneumatic background with valve positioners and transmitters
  • High school degree or equivalent required
  • Technical school degree


  • Work with Manufacturing Departments
  • Work with Sales Department
  • Work with Technicians
  • Talk with Customers to discuss and analyze their instrumentation issues

Working Conditions & Physical Demands:

  • Shop environment with HVAC
  • Scheduled shift is 7:00am 3:30pm
