Parts Processing personnel are responsible for using industrial cleaning products, wire wheels, small power tools and hand tools to clean and restore component parts used in sub-assemblies of process control instrumentation and control valves.
Core Duties & Responsibilities

Prepare parts for refinishing
-
Inspect the parts to determine if they can be remanufactured
-
Replace inferior or defective parts
-
Clean and restore parts to as new condition
-
Notify supervisors of production problems
-
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
-
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
-
Mechanical aptitude
-
Be able to read, understand and follow basic instructions
-
Attention to detail
Inter-relationships:

Work in a team of 12-14 production workers

Work with supervisors

Working conditions & physical demands:

Ability to lift up to 44 pounds (single person lift); 88 pounds (two-person lift)

Ability to remain productive at work station for full shift.

Scheduled shift 6:00am 2:30pm, Monday Friday

Overtime may occasionally be required

Shop does not have AC. Must be able to work in the heat.
