AUCD, a national nonprofit organization supporting the disability community, is seeking a highly motivated, accomplished, organized, and goal-oriented Senior Program Manager to support the Public Health Team.
The Senior Program Manager manages public health projects and capacity development activities for the National Center on Disability in Public Health. The manager leads national initiatives and provides technical assistance for participating sites including the University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDDs), the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) programs, and public health partners.
Overview of Responsibilities
- Work with the AUCD network, partners, and national work group to review, revise, and disseminate public health workforce competencies on including people living with disabilities.
- Actively work to create cohesiveness across AUCD's public health programs through communication and technical assistance.
- Develop and give presentations, training and training materials as requested regarding project activities and respond to questions from participating sites as needed.
- Serve as liaison with project sites and other partners.
- Write and develop progress report and project documentation to include evaluation and partner outreach plan.
- Coordinate, and manage the scheduling and development of technical assistance events, meetings, webinars, and conference calls.
- Provide information to the AUCD network and the general public as appropriate on project efforts through web postings, newsletters and electronic publications.
- Represent the AUCD network as well as the cooperative agreement at meetings and conferences in different locations.
- Grant writing, manuscripts, continuation agreements, proposals, and annual reports.
- Manage other grant and program activities.
Position Requirements
Education: You will be qualified for this position if you have a Master's degree in a social science, education, administration, public health, policy, or other relevant field (or equivalent experience) OR five (5) years of equivalent professional experience.
Experience: You will be qualified for this position if you have eight (8) years of professional leadership experience in human services, project management or provision of technical assistance. MPH, MS or MA in public health, disability, clinical or human services related field preferred.
Supervisory: Directly supervises one (1) full-time Program Specialist. Assigns, supervises, coordinates, and reviews the work of assigned staff.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000. This position is funded by a federal contract and cooperative agreement and will be contingent upon continued funding.
This position is 100% remote.
