We are looking for a highly organized Apparel Production Manager to establish production schedules, integrate production processes, and ensure the necessary supplies are selected and purchased. The ideal candidate will monitor how well every equipment is functioning and whether or not safety measures are observed. He/She must possess a strong interpersonal and time management skill to be able to multitask and manage multiple operations at once.
Your Responsibilities (These will grow!):

Provide Manufacturing decision making information by calculating production, labor and material costs, reviewing production schedules, and estimation future requirements.

Oversee the creation of clothing and other textile products

Work with our team of designers, pattern makers, cutters, sewers, and other professionals to ensure that our products meet quality standards and are ready for sale when they hit the shelves

Develops and executes in partnership with designer styles from initial concept to production

Develops and sources in partnership with designer fabric and trims
-
Mange all samples to ensure their movement through to product development process in coordination with the development calendar

Work With factories to achieve desired costing and margin goals without compromising design

Travel to factories as needed to review seasonal development progress

Strategically manage vendors to make sure sample deadlines are met

Strategically manage in partnership with design bill of material (BOMs), fabric and trim, issuing trials, tests, and color approvals

Build and maintain development calendar, and cost charts for all categories
-
Negotiate best cost with vendors
-
Manage all communication with vendors to ensure daily clarity and product status updates
-
Develop and manage process for ordering bulk fabric and trim to ensure orders can be cut and made
-
Build strong relationships with mills to obtain care, content, sample yardage requests, bulk minimums, negotiate prices, lead-times, and delivery

Other related duties as assigned.
We're Looking for Someone Who Has:

Candidates with a Degree in Business, Fashion, Manufacturing, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.

3-5 years of experience in production or product development
-
Positive, enthusiastic and passionate about the apparel industry
-
Knowledge and understanding of fabrics, construction and print techniques
-
Candidates with industry-related experience.

Candidate with extensive background in Quality control, materials management, inventory control, configuration analysis, production control and purchasing management

Candidates who have excellent time-management and organizing skills.

Candidates who possess quick and effective problem-solving skills.

Candidates should have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Candidates do not have to reside in Marietta, However, the job location is in Marietta GA
