Assurance Manufacturing is an employee-owned precision sheet metal fabrication, stamping, machining, and assembly company that operates in a modern manufacturing facility. We are looking for a Timesave Setup person for our Coon Rapids facility.

Timesave Setup Responsibilities:

• Set up and run Timesaver and SteelMaster deburring machines.
• Follow work order procedures and routings; gather required tools and materials based on instructions, drawings, and specifications provided for the job.
• Maintain, organize, and clean equipment and the work area per standard 5S practices.
• Notify supervisor when faulty equipment or defective materials are discovered. Follow Control of Nonconforming Product Procedure.
• Perform UL1439 edge testing as required.
• Follow procedures in relation to inspection of parts.
• Cross Train in other areas of the plant as necessary to meet production demands.
• Adhere to all safety rules and guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Timesave Setup Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required. Technical certificate or degree preferred.
• Basic understanding of technical plans, drawings, models and blueprints.
• Excellent ability to read and listen to assignments given in a variety of forms including job routings.
• Basic understanding of mathematics.
• Good teamwork skills.
• Ability to visually assess edge quality and cleanliness of parts.
