St. Mary Catholic School and Preschool has a long tradition rooted in the Catholic faith. We are seeking a 6th Grade teacher for the 2023-2024 school year.

The candidate will be responsible for lesson planning, curricular mapping, alignment to standards, and all other expectations related to the teaching profession. The teacher in this position will be responsible for planning and implementing daily lessons for 6th grade students. The ideal teacher candidate has both a strong knowledge of the Indiana standards at the 6th grade level as well as current best practices to meet diverse student needs. They are able to design and facilitate engaging lessons, utilize formative assessment to guide instruction and provide ongoing student support, and create a positive classroom environment with Christ at the center. Collaboration with other teachers and a commitment to professional development are key.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree Required License
Must hold a valid Indiana State Teacher's license
