Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance on equipment
- Diagnose problems with malfunctioning equipment
- Make sure that equipment is functioning according to Safety regulations
- Detect and repair defective parts and/or materials
- Complete shift reports to communicate with other technicians
- Work with other technicians to solve multifaceted problems
- Complete daily rounds along with check off sheets
- Manually repair tools as needed
Requirements
- Experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and practices
- Knowledge of safety requirements for the appropriate equipment
- Appropriate certifications for the equipment used
- Great problem solving skills
- Electrical Preventative Maintenance experience
- Voltage from 120vac to 2400vac
- 24vdc control voltage
- Running electrical services
- Perform Infrared Inspections
- Troubleshooting motors/starters and VFD's
- Use of standard electrical monitoring tools
- Lighting to include emergency lights and fire exit signs
- Strong mechanical background
- May be asked to furnish some personal tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
- An active drivers license
- Ability to work overtime as needed
