We are seeking a mission-driven professional with a Secret Clearance to become our next IT Field Support Lead in Rome, NY.

As an IT Field Service Lead, you will:

  • Provide leadership and technical expertise supporting an Air Force customer with a critical mission supporting the nation

A week in the life of an IT Field Service Lead:

As a working lead, you will oversee and manage field service staff and perform activities that include installation, hands-on troubleshooting, and decommissioning of various computer equipment
Ensure that all service requests are tracked to completion and customer service SLAs are met
Mentor and train field service staff to provide high-quality customer service experiences and to reduce system downtime as well as maintain and update a library of Standard Operating Procedures.

Job Requirements
  • Secret security clearance required; Top Secret preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT installation and repair
  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related field preferred
  • ITIL Foundations V3 Certified (V4 preferred).
  • COMPTIA Network+ certification required
  • COMPTIA Security + Certification required
  • Experience managing IT field services for large organizations with high availability and quick response requirements.
  • Experience with ITIL-based service delivery
  • Outstanding organization and communication skills

  • Demonstrated ability to approach job responsibilities with a focus on process improvement
  • Excellent computer knowledge and experience
