A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A KEHS PARAPROFESSIONAL
As a teacher assistant, you play a vital role in the development of children. Passionate about helping children grow, you provide teachers with reliable collaboration for assistance with the children, paperwork, lesson plans, or tracking. With your valuable organizational skills, classrooms are cleaned and arranged with essential materials for various learning activities. Your attention to detail ensures playground, classroom, and bus safety of children and staff. As a teacher assistant, you are the key support that our teachers need to keep children flourishing.
KEHS PARAPROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver's License and current auto insurance
Our ideal teacher assistant preferably has an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, at least two years of experience in Early Childhood programs, and childcare or educational experience with young children! Are you an excellent bilingual communicator, both verbal and written? Do you understand how children learn and develop? Are you a team player that works efficiently in a group? If yes, we want you as our teacher's aide!
KEHS PARAPROFESSIONAL WORK SCHEDULE
Typically, our full-time teacher's aide offers valuable assistance Monday through Friday during business hours. Your day is full of laughter and growing minds from frequent field trips to classroom interaction.
