This Early Childhood Paraprofessional position is essential to the success of our nonprofit as we seek to meet the needs of our community through excellent educational and family support services. In this full-time, year-round education role, you enjoy collaborating with teachers and helping with the children, paperwork, lesson plans, or tracking. You also help with classroom setup each day, keeping rooms cleaned, organized, and equipped with essential materials for various learning activities. Further, you help keep our playground, classroom, and bus areas safe for children and staff, and you enjoy assisting with school field trips to keep students engaged and safe.
On top of helping maintain an engaging and safe learning environment, you take pride in being able to play an active role against child abuse and neglect prevention. You work with both children and parents to develop skills for success in the various areas of their lives. During parent meetings, you plan and lead activities to keep children occupied. Ultimately, we rely on your knowledge, experience, and enthusiastic personality to help us leave a lasting impression on the youth and their families in our community!

An associate degree in early childhood education is preferred. Two years of experience in an early childhood program and educational experience with young children would be a plus.
